How to Eliminate Armpit Odor from Shirts

Armpit odor is a common issue that can be embarrassing and difficult to remove. Fortunately, there are several effective methods to eliminate this unpleasant smell from your shirts.

1. Soak in White Vinegar

White vinegar is a natural deodorizer that can neutralize the bacteria that cause armpit odor. Fill a sink or bucket with cold water and add 1 cup of white vinegar. Submerge the affected shirts in the solution and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. Rinse the shirts thoroughly with cold water and launder as usual.

2. Apply Baking Soda

Baking soda is another effective odor absorber. Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda directly onto the armpit area of the shirt. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then brush off the excess. Launder the shirt as usual.

3. Use Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidizing agent that can kill bacteria and remove stains. Mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide with 2 parts water in a spray bottle. Spray the solution onto the armpit area of the shirt and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse the shirt thoroughly with cold water and launder as usual. 4. Launder with Baking Soda and Vinegar
