4. Detach the Old Spray Arm:

Once the nut is loosened, you can gently pull the upper spray arm downwards to detach it from the dishwasher. Be mindful not to damage the spray arm or the surrounding components.

5. Inspect the Spray Arm Holes:

Before installing the new spray arm, inspect the holes for any clogs or debris. Clear any obstructions using a toothpick or a small brush to ensure unobstructed water flow.

6. Position the New Spray Arm:

Align the new upper spray arm with the corresponding attachment point inside the dishwasher. Carefully lift it into place and ensure it sits correctly.

7. Secure the Spray Arm Nut:

Tighten the spray arm nut by hand as much as possible. Use a wrench or pliers to further tighten the nut, but avoid overtightening, as this can damage the threads.

8. Reinstall the Upper Rack:

Once the spray arm is securely installed, carefully place the upper rack back into the dishwasher. Ensure it slides in smoothly and is properly aligned.

9. Reconnect Power and Test:

Reconnect the dishwasher to the power source and initiate a short test cycle to verify if the upper spray arm is functioning correctly. Check for any leaks or unusual noises.
