How to Create an Armoire Closet

Once you have gathered your materials, follow these steps to build your armoire closet:
1.Cut the plywood to size.
The plywood will form the back, sides, and top of the closet. Cut the plywood to the following dimensions:- Back: 72 inches wide x 84 inches high
- Sides: 24 inches wide x 84 inches high
- Top: 24 inches deep x 72 inches wide
Assemble the frame.
The frame of the closet will be made from 2x4 lumber. Cut the 2x4s to the following dimensions:- Top and bottom rails: 72 inches long
- Vertical supports: 84 inches long
Attach the plywood to the frame.
Attach the plywood to the frame using wood screws. Start by attaching the back of the closet, then add the sides and finally the top. 4.Build the doors.
The doors of the closet will be made from 1x4 lumber. Cut the 1x4s to the following dimensions:- Door stiles: 84 inches long
- Door rails: 24 inches long
Attach the doors to the frame.
Attach the doors to the frame using door hinges. 6.Add shelves.
Add shelves to the closet by attaching shelving brackets to the sides of the closet. Then, place the shelves on the brackets. 7.Paint or stain the closet.
