How to Fix a Warm Fridge and Cold Freezer in a Frigidaire
When your Frigidaire fridge is warm and the freezer is cold, it can be a frustrating experience. Fortunately, there are a few common causes of this problem that you can easily fix yourself.
1. Dirty condenser coils

4. Clogged air vents
The air vents in your refrigerator help to circulate air and keep the temperature consistent. If the air vents are clogged, the air will not be able to circulate properly and your fridge will start to warm up.
To clean the air vents, simply use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust or debris. Be sure to unplug your refrigerator before you start cleaning.
5. Faulty compressor
The compressor is the heart of your refrigerator and it is responsible for circulating the refrigerant. If the compressor is faulty, your fridge will not be able to cool properly and it will start to warm up.
To test the compressor, listen for a humming sound when you open the door of your refrigerator. If you do not hear a humming sound, the compressor may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
