How to Make a Garment Rack Cover

Materials You'll Need:
- Fabric (amount will vary depending on the size of your garment rack)
- Scissors
- Sewing machine or needle and thread
- Measuring tape or ruler

Instructions:
- Measure the width and height of your garment rack. Add 2 inches to both the width and height for seam allowances.
- Cut a piece of fabric to the desired size.
- Fold the fabric in half lengthwise, with the wrong sides together. Sew the side seams, using a 1/2-inch seam allowance.
- Turn the fabric right side out. Fold the top edge of the fabric down by 1 inch and press. Fold the edge down another 1 inch and press again. Stitch the hem in place.
- Fold the bottom edge of the fabric up by 1 inch and press. Fold the edge up another 1 inch and press again. Stitch the hem in place.
- Insert the garment rack into the cover. The hemmed edges should fit snugly around the top and bottom of the rack.
